Parents were full of praise for Theddlethorpe Academy and its teaching staff when they joined their children in the classroom for an Open Afternoon.
Mum Rachael Venman visited her son Jacob Mycroft (10), who is in Year 6. She said: "Jacob moved from Mablethorpe to a smaller school. Theddlethorpe is lovely. There is lots of support from staff and Mrs White."
Jacob said: "We have been making an eco system using a weather cycle and seeds, planting them in soil and experimenting with light and water."
Mum Lauren Warner visited her daughter Lilly Hollingsworth (8), who is in Year 4. She said: "It is lovely to come in and work with the children and see what they are doing."
Year 5 pupil Roxy Carmichael (9) was delighted to have her mum Claire in school. She said: "I really enjoyed my mum coming in."
Claire added: "It has been really good. Roxy is really happy here."
Mandy White, Theddlethorpe Academy Principal, said: "It is lovely to have so many compliments from parents and pupils. We really enjoy the Open Afternoon, which gives the parents a chance to see what is going on in the classrooms and how their children spend the day."
