Our butterflies are free!

You may remember a few weeks ago, we were learning about The Very Hungry Caterpillar in our English lessons.

We welcomed 5 tiny caterpillars and watched them go through their many changes!

After 5 weeks of feeding and watching the caterpillars, Miss Marrows let them go to experience their new life in the wild to continue the life cycle as butterflies.

The children have thoroughly enjoyed the experience; especially checking on them daily to see the changes and understanding what is happening and why.
