Young Pupils Enjoy Real Life 'Happy Feet' Demonstration

Theddlethorpe Academy pupils Elissia Alan, Layla Coldicott, Charlie Travis and Riley Taylor at Woodside Wildlife Park with the newly-arrived penguins, who were definitely not camera shy.

Pupils from Theddlethorpe Academy had happy feet when they met the newly-arrived penguins on a visit to Woodside Wildlife Park near Lincoln.

The children from Years 1 and 2 visited the park as part of their topic "Our Wonderful World." During the day they saw a variety of wild animals including a tiger, marmosets, white wolves, a crocodile and meerkats.

Some of the children also had the thrill of holding a bearded dragon and a snake. The penguins that had recently arrived put on a great show for the pupils. The only thing missing was the dancing!

You don't see one of these everyday!
